Victory! Another Sanctuary Ordinance Falls

WASHINGTON—Yesterday, in a major victory against sanctuary policies, Indiana’s Lake Superior Court struck down key parts of an ordinance that the City of East Chicago, Indiana, had enacted to protect illegal aliens, even ones with criminal records, from federal immigration law enforcement. The decision is a major victory for the plaintiffs, who are represented by the Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI) and The Bopp Law Firm. Previously, the same attorneys represented plaintiffs who successfully challenged a similar ordinance in Gary, Indiana. . . Read more about Victory! Another Sanctuary Ordinance Falls

Arizona AG sues Biden administration over immigration policies that harm the environment

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich is suing the Biden administration over its immigration policies, citing questions over whether recent decisions comply with environmental regulations.

Brnovich alleged that the administration has not complied with its obligations under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), which generally requires federal agencies to weigh the potential environmental consequences of policies prior to their implementation. . .

Thousands of Migrants Freed into U.S. by DHS Resettle in Florida, Texas

After taking office in January, Biden ended the Remain in Mexico program, which had proven remarkably effective in eliminating the Catch and Release policy whereby border crossers are apprehended and subsequently released into the U.S. interior while awaiting their asylum hearings.

As of February, of the more than 71,000 asylum cases under Remain in Mexico, less than one percent of foreign nationals were found to have a legitimate asylum claim. . .

A Dozen Texas Counties Have Declared Emergencies Due to the Worsening Border Crisis

In this week’s C’Mon Now! we broke Joe Biden’s border coverage blackout with an interview with a lifelong rancher who lives 56 miles from the Texas-Mexico border. She says in her 40 years in the area, the current influx of illegal crossings is the worst she has ever seen. Residents do not feel safe even taking out their trash.

A resident of a nearby county farther inland and away from the border told PJ Media that she spotted an illegal migrant on her property before dawn today. He was attempting to look into the windows of her home as he trespassed. Local law enforcement took 40 minutes to arrive, and when they did, did very little to track the man. He disappeared. . . Biden's immigration policies hurt environment? Arizona green groups react to state AG's lawsuit

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich is suing the Biden administration for failing to examine the environmental effects of its immigration policies — but state environmental groups are not supportive.

"This is a cynical lawsuit by the attorney general. Attorney General Brnovich did nothing while the Trump administration waived laws along the border, including environmental laws to erect the hateful, harmful, ineffective, and expensive border walls," Sandy Bahr, a spokeswoman for the Grand Canyon chapter of the Sierra Club, told Fox News. . .https://www.foxnews.com/politics/biden-immigration-environment-arizona-n... oe Biden finally made formal nominations for the agency heads of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). HILLSBORO, OR (KPTV) – A 20-year-old man has been found guilty of six counts of first-degree sodomy according to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office.

Jesus Gongora Dominguez was found guilty on April 15.

In December of 2019, the victim disclosed to a mandatory reporter that he was sexually abused by Dominguez four years prior. Hillsboro police were notified and talked with the victim and his family.

Investigators say the victim reported that the defendant had sexually abused him multiple times. He told investigators that the defendant would lure him into his bedroom with the promise of candy or video games and would sexually abuse him. He told the victim not to tell anyone about the abuse.

The Washington County District Attorney’s Office commends the victim in this case for his bravery in reporting this abuse.

A sentencing hearing is scheduled for July 7, 2021. Dominguez will remain in custody until that time.
