Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas says the U.S.–Mexico border is closed, although unaccompanied children who unlawfully cross into the United States won’t be turned back.

“We are expelling families. We are expelling single adults. And we’ve made a decision that we will not expel young, vulnerable children. I think we are executing on our plans​,” Mayorkas told NBC News’ “Meet the Press” on March 21.​

Mayorkas was then asked by Chuck Todd, the host, about whether the policy encourages parents in Mexico and other countries to send their children alone to the border.

“We have a short-term plan, a medium-term plan, and a long-term plan, and the president and I have spoken to this repeatedly. Please remember something: That ​President ​[Donald] ​Trump dismantled the orderly, humane, and efficient way of allowing children to make their claims under United States law in their home countries​,” the secretary said, without elaborating. . . A top former Trump White House adviser on immigration told Fox News in an interview on Sunday that President Joe Biden’s immigration agenda would “fundamentally erase the very essence of America’s nationhood.”

“The reason why I have studied immigration so closely is because it’s so fundamental to what it is to be a nation, the right of the people living in a country to decide who enters that country, on what conditions, for how long, and how to establish national boundaries and borders. A large group of migrants, most likely seeking asylum in the United States, were spotted heading north via a rail route known as La Bestia. The train departed Tierra Blanca, Guanajuato, and will likely arrive at the U.S.-Mexico Border within days, according to Breitbart Texas sources.

WASHINGTON—Yesterday the DC Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a district court’s dismissal of a lawsuit brought by the family of the so-called “ISIS bride,” Hoda Muthana, who joined the terrorist group in Syria, then sought to return to America where she was born.

In an attempt to secure Muthana’s return to the United States, her father, a former UN diplomat from Yemen, sued Secretary of State Michael Pompeo and other federal officials in federal district court in the District of Columbia. Candidate Donald Trump’s Contract With The American Voter promised that he would not only deport criminal illegal aliens, but that he would “cancel visas to foreign countries that won’t take them back.” It only makes sense. If a dangerous criminal passes illegally from another nation into the United States, it’s not the job of the American taxpayer to take on the expense of their care. President-elect Joe Biden announced that he plans to move on legislation that would grant citizenship to over 11 million illegal immigrants almost immediately upon entering office.

Biden made the promise during an interview with NBC News Tuesday evening.
