WASHINGTON – The Immigration Reform Law Institute has obtained an internal audit report from the Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General (OIG), admitting what most Americans already understand: border barriers are the most effective measures for curbing illegal immigration at the U.S.-Mexico border.

The OIG document was the result of a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request from IRLI as part of an investigative report on the value of physical barriers at the border.
