Customs and Border Protection data from last year show that the Border Patrol apprehended at least 23 people at the southern border who are on the U.S. terror watchlist.

Fox News’ Bill Melugin, who obtained the CBP data through a Freedom of Information Act request, reported Monday that between Jan. 20 and Dec. 27, 2021, the names of 23 individuals who attempted to come across the border matched individuals on the Terrorist Screening Database. . . . Biden Admin Responds to Reports Saying DHS May Restart Border Wall Construction

The White House responded to a report this week claiming that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) would restart construction of the U.S.–Mexico border wall to shore up gaps in the current barrier, after President Joe Biden issued an executive order months ago to pause construction.

DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas reportedly said that there’s “room to make decisions” on finishing “gaps in the wall,” according to the Washington Times, which cited notes of a conversation between Mayorkas and Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials. The Epoch Times hasn’t been able to independently confirm the authenticity of the remarks and has contacted DHS for comment on the story. . . Dreamers Arrested in Protest "Were There to Help Those Who Were There to Commit Crime and Damage."

Illegal immigrants protected by an Obama-era amnesty for adults who came to the U.S. as children are among the rioters arrested and charged with crimes in Arizona. One of them, 30-year-old Mexican illegal alien Maxima Guerrero, is a community organizer with a Phoenix-based grassroots migrant justice organization called Puente Movement. She has been shielded from deportation under Obama’s controversial program known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) since 2013. The former president issued the DACA executive order after Congress repeatedly rejected legislation offering illegal immigrants similar protections. . .
