Public Support for Biden Immigration Policies Clnti ues to Slip as Immigration Crisis Intensifies

According to a recent poll commissioned by the NPR Media Network, American swing voters oppose Joe Biden’s open border immigration policy by a margin of 2:1, according to the same poll Latino Americans are just as unlikely to support Biden’s mass immigration agenda as they are to support it.

The NRP commissioned poll asked 1,309 registered voters if they “approve or disapprove of how President Biden is handling immigration.” Overall, just 33% of voters approve of Biden’s border policies, while 54% disapprove, says the Marist poll, conducted March 22 to 25. . . Did the Border Crisis Finally Force the Corporate Media to Criticize Joe Biden?

The crisis at the border continues unabated, and the Biden administration has no plan to solve it. The Biden administration has just signed an $86 million contract with hotels near the border to house migrant families. Fifteen thousand unaccompanied minors have arrived and the administration does not have the facilities to house them. Perhaps the shocking part of the current moment is that it is not the typical reporters, such as Brandon Darby of Breitbart and other conservative outlets, standing alone in reporting the situation accurately. The corporate media is also calling it a crisis.

This story marks the first time that the corporate media has taken a critical tone against a Democrat policy since Barack Obama got sworn into the White House. Biden administration officials are not quite sure how to handle it, so they are trying to blame the crisis on the previous administration. That is a stretch, considering that one of Biden’s first executive actions involved dismantling the border policies put in place by the prior administration. Most major outlets are not buying this particular narrative. . . Read more about Did the Border Crisis Finally Force the Corporate Media to Criticize Joe Biden?

White House Giving Journalists ‘Zero Access’ to Border Patrol Operations

The Biden administration has given no access to observe or report on Customs and Border Protection (CPB) operations at the U.S.-Mexico border, according to an award-winning photographer and journalist.

Getty Images correspondent John Moore alleged there is a lack of transparency along the border. Last week, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) stated that Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ trip to the border, including El Paso, Texas, “will be closed to press due to privacy and COVID-19 precautions.”. . A Look Inside H.R. 6, the Bill That Would Provide Legal Status to Minors Brought to US Illegally

The Democrat-controlled House of Representatives passed H.R. 6 on Thursday in a 228-197 vote, with nine Republicans joining them. The bill includes two main provisions, one of them, The Dream Act and The America Promise Act, would, if enacted, grant legal status to children who were brought to the United States illegally.

Advocates for the reform say it would give children brought to the country through no fault of their own, a path to citizenship. But opponents say the bill sends a message that illegal entry to the United States will be rewarded and encourages trafficking of minors to take advantage of loopholes in the immigration system.  .   .

Report: Biden Administration Places 'Gag Order' on Border Patrol Personnel as Crisis Grows

The Biden administration has reportedly placed an unofficial “gag order” on Border Patrol agents and sector chiefs as a surge of migrants swarm the southern border.

Four current and two former Customs and Border Protection officials said to NBC News that they have been told to deny requests for media “ride-alongs” with agents, and press officers have been told to send any requests for information to the press office in Washington for approval.

Agents responsible for keeping track of the number of migrants in custody have also been told to prevent leaks by not sharing their information. The officials said the restrictions and others like them are often referred to as unofficial “gag orders.”. . Texas Governor: Biden Administration Won’t Allow State Authorities To Visit Child Migrant Camps

Texas Governor Greg Abbott responded to what he called a “humanitarian crisis” occurring on the United States-Mexico border, assailing the Biden administration for keeping Texas state health and law enforcement officials from migrant camps playing host to thousands of unaccompanied minors, and for failing to keep the Texas state government appraised of the situation.

On Tuesday, The Daily Wire reported that the “child migrant crisis” has exploded and that the number of unaccompanied children being held at the border was 300% higher than previously known. Sources told CBS News that “more than 13,000 migrant children who entered the country without their parents are now in U.S. custody.”. . Biden Administration Refuses To Say How Many Kids Are In Cages; Florida Takes Legal Action

Since he took office nearly two months ago, Joe Biden has failed to address the public regarding any of the issues facing our country, most specifically the crisis at the border.

Even his press secretary, Jen Psaki, skirts around the topic, refusing to confirm reports that the number of detained unaccompanied minors at the border has tripled since Biden took office.

“I’m not going to confirm numbers from here,” Psaki said during the White House press briefing. “Obviously, the Department of Homeland Security and others are overseeing the programs and engagements that happen at the border.”. .
