Biden admin mulls move to open pathways to green cards for temporary agricultural, seasonal migrant workers

FIRST ON FOX: The Biden administration is considering a rule that would open the door to allow temporary agricultural and seasonal workers to be able to apply for permanent residency in the United States, Fox News Digital has learned.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) previously announced it intends to issue a notice of proposed rulemaking to "modernize and reform" the H-2A and H-2B visas — which are used for temporary agricultural workers and temporary seasonal workers.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has said that rule will incorporate policies to address exploitation and abuse, protect workers and increase program efficiencies. . . . Biden Unveils Plan to Launder the Unprecedented Flow of Illegal Aliens, Charges FAIR

“After two years of denying that the situation at our southern border constitutes a humanitarian, national security, and public health crisis, President Biden has issued new ‘border enforcement measures’ and ‘additional safe and orderly processes’ for unprecedented numbers of migrants attempting to enter the United States illegally.

“Far from stanching the self-inflicted, unprecedented flow of illegal aliens, the Biden administration announced today that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will now grant parole to Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and (per the prior program) Venezuelans facing ‘unique challenges’ in their home countries. This is not a recognized category under current law for granting entry into the United States, nor does it satisfy the requirements of the parole statute. . . . The State of the Border: New FAIR Issue Brief Paints a Grim Picture of a Self-Induced Disaster

A new illustrated and concise report by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) depicting the exponential growth in illegal immigration since January 2021 shows why he largely avoided the issue. The report graphically illustrates how Biden Administration policies have created a humanitarian, national security, and public health crisis at the border dwarfing anything that came before.

The State of the Border: an Illustrated Analysis of Biden’s Failure to Secure the Southwest Border, shows the staggering increase in the numbers of people encountered entering the country illegally; the number of people encountered who are listed on the federal Terrorist Screening Database; the number of “gotaways” who were detected but eluded apprehension; and the volume of lethal fentanyl seized at the border. . . . WashPo: Joe Biden Plans Bigger Migration Swap with Mexico

President Joe Biden’s deputies are drafting a bigger migration swap with Mexico’s president that would burst through Congress’s annual caps on immigration levels, according to the Washington Post.

The political swap would expand a January border-management deal that annually trades 360,000 additional migrants for 360,000 deportations back into Mexico.

The expanded deal would help Mexico’s president deliver more Latinos into U.S. jobs, help Biden’s 2024 campaign staff hide the chaotic arrival of more job-seeking migrants, help business groups get more cheap workers, consumers, and renters, and help progressives divorce from their civic obligations to ordinary Americans. . . .

Too Little, Too Late: Biden Stages Carefully Choreographed Photo-Op at the Border

“President Biden’s three-hour stopover in El Paso on his way to Mexico was nothing more than a carefully choreographed photo-op designed to quell criticism of his refusal to get a firsthand look at what is happening at the border, rather than a serious effort to end a crisis he created and has purposefully worsened.

“When you take a step back, this crisis is all by design. During a 2019 primary debate, then-presidential candidate Biden explicitly urged migrants around the world to surge the border, with the intent of rubber-stamping their asylum claims: ‘I would, in fact, make sure that there is—we immediately surge to the border. All those people seeking asylum, they deserve to be heard.’

“In their first 100 days, the Biden administration took over 90 executive actions on immigration, many of which dismantled an effective system, making it easier for migrants to illegally enter and stay for good. Nearly every follow-up executive action or policy decision, including the unlawful parole program unveiled late last week, has been used to launder the crisis – not end it. . . . Biden Admin Calling on Illegal Aliens to Snitch on American Citizens in Exchange for Massive Reward

Shady is as shady does. And the Biden administration is about as shady as it gets.

On Friday, the Department of Homeland Security announced an expedited deportation “relief” process for illegal immigrants who report their employers, according to the Post Millennial.

To put it another way, illegal immigrants are to be rewarded for ratting out the American citizens who hire them. . . . Read more about Biden Admin Calling on Illegal Aliens to Snitch on American Citizens in Exchange for Massive Reward

Exclusive: Biden Border Visit ‘Shouldn’t Be an Hour on the Tarmac,’ Says Rep. Tony Gonzales

Congressman Tony Gonzales (R-TX) spoke with Breitbart Texas about President Joe Biden’s visit to the border next week and outlined his wish to join the White House delegation to show real problems in the region.

The President’s scheduled visit to El Paso on Sunday will involve meeting with local officials, according to a White House statement issued on Thursday. Gonzales, whose district includes 800 miles of U.S.-Mexico Border within its boundaries, says the President needs to hear from a multitude of impacted parties. “We are in year three of this border crisis and people are expressing a wide range of emotions that run from anger, sadness, and for some, just giving up,” he emphasized. . . . Judicial Ruling Barring Termination of Remain in Mexico Policy is a Life Vest for the President. He Should be Smart Enough to Take It

Late on the Thursday, Federal Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk issued a ruling preventing the Biden administration from terminating the Migrant Protection Protocols, aka, Remain in Mexico. The situation at the southern border is hurtling from disastrous to catastrophic – and heading toward cataclysmic, if Title 42 is canceled in the coming weeks. Under the circumstances, the president and the adults in the White House (if there are any left), should view Judge Kacsmaryk’s ruling as a deus ex machina opportunity to save themselves and the country. . . . Biden's refugees resettling in Oregon?

A massive three-story apartment building is being built in the small town of Lebanon, Oregon, a building whose developers from the Farm Home Development Council (FHDC) claim is mostly farm workers and disabled vets. But Lebanon turned to mechanized strawberry and bean harvesting long ago. Low maintenance filberts also don't need many farm workers. And how many disabled veterans can afford the market-level rent or climb all those stairs?

It's highly probable that these Colonia Paz apartments are another destination for the millions of illegal aliens who have flooded the U.S. since the Biden Administration began. Incorporating all the children into local school districts will create an extra burden for the local tax payers. This pattern is repeating itself all over Oregon only because citizens tend to find out about the housing boom only after the fact

Fortunately, a small group of concerned citizens in Lebanon is unraveling the origins of the funding and the 501 C-3 organizations who work under the radar to accommodate the future voters being ushered into the state--as destabilizing that may be. This blog will post new discoveries as they occur.
