Victory! Another Sanctuary Ordinance Falls

WASHINGTON—Yesterday, in a major victory against sanctuary policies, Indiana’s Lake Superior Court struck down key parts of an ordinance that the City of East Chicago, Indiana, had enacted to protect illegal aliens, even ones with criminal records, from federal immigration law enforcement. The decision is a major victory for the plaintiffs, who are represented by the Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI) and The Bopp Law Firm. Previously, the same attorneys represented plaintiffs who successfully challenged a similar ordinance in Gary, Indiana. . . Read more about Victory! Another Sanctuary Ordinance Falls

Thousands of Migrants Freed into U.S. by DHS Resettle in Florida, Texas

After taking office in January, Biden ended the Remain in Mexico program, which had proven remarkably effective in eliminating the Catch and Release policy whereby border crossers are apprehended and subsequently released into the U.S. interior while awaiting their asylum hearings.

As of February, of the more than 71,000 asylum cases under Remain in Mexico, less than one percent of foreign nationals were found to have a legitimate asylum claim. . .

COMMENTARY Trump Admin Lawyer: Biden ‘100 Percent’ Broke Federal Law by Withholding Funds for Border Wall

Mark Paoletta, who served as general counsel to the Office of Management and Budget during the Trump administration, said Thursday he’s certain President Joe Biden broke a federal law by stopping funds from being used for border wall construction.

During a hearing of the House Budget Committee, Republican Rep. Jason Smith of Missouri asked Paoletta whether the president’s controversial decision violated a 1974 law that limits a president’s power to withhold funds. . . Biden Administration Starts Reuniting Families Separated at Mexico Border

The Biden administration is reuniting four children who were separated from their families at the U.S.-Mexico border under the previous administration, officials said on Monday.

“We expect for families to be reunited tomorrow,” Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said on “CBS This Morning.”

The reunification effort stems from a task force that President Joe Biden established via an executive order in February. The task force was told to focus on identifying parents and children broken apart during the Trump administration and to figure out how to reunify them. . . Who's Coming Across the Biden-Harris Open Border?

Democrats are fist-pumping this week as we hit the "100 days" of President Joe Biden's administration, but here's another milestone for assessment: It's been 37 days since Vice President Kamala Harris was given the pleasure of overseeing the absolute mess created by her boss at the southern border.

How is that going?

Every other day or so, U.S. Customs and Border Protection sends out updates of the things it's encountering at the border — drugs, migrants, stash houses. I get regular notices from the Rio Grande Valley sector, where I've been to survey the scene and where more illegal border crossings occur than anywhere else. . . White House directs $310M to Central American countries as migrants flee to US

The Biden administration has committed to sending an additional $310 million in foreign aid to Central American countries in an effort to resolve root causes of treks by tens of thousands of people to the U.S. southern border each month.

Vice President Kamala Harris announced Monday in a virtual meeting with President Alejandro Giammattei of Guatemala that the U.S. government had pledged the money in support of humanitarian relief and food shortages in El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. . . Biden's immigration policies hurt environment? Arizona green groups react to state AG's lawsuit

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich is suing the Biden administration for failing to examine the environmental effects of its immigration policies — but state environmental groups are not supportive.

"This is a cynical lawsuit by the attorney general. Attorney General Brnovich did nothing while the Trump administration waived laws along the border, including environmental laws to erect the hateful, harmful, ineffective, and expensive border walls," Sandy Bahr, a spokeswoman for the Grand Canyon chapter of the Sierra Club, told Fox News. . .https://www.foxnews.com/politics/biden-immigration-environment-arizona-n... On immigration alone, Vanita Gupta will be a disaster in the Justice Department

As the Biden administration hits its 100-day milestone, it has become clear that one of the following statements must be true. Either Joseph Robinette Biden blatantly lied to voters last fall when he portrayed himself as a common sense moderate, or Biden’s role in his own administration is little more than a hood ornament while fringe elements of his staff and party wield the actual power. Whichever one is true, the end result may be the most left-wing presidency in American history, particularly on the issue of immigration. This can only lead to extremely bad outcomes for the country. . . Read more about On immigration alone, Vanita Gupta will be a disaster in the Justice Department

President Biden Admits He’s About To Break All The Rules – Joe Plans To Ram Holy Grail Through Congress: Amnesty

Remember when candidate Joe Biden said he wouldn’t abuse the power of the President? That he would be a moderate, transitional President that would unite Americans?

Today Joe is showing he’s just a swamp politician who said whatever he needed to get elected.

How do we know this? Because he’s planning to ram one of the most controversial bills in the last 40 years through Congress with the barest majority, with no debate.

That’s right, he plans to use a 50-50 reconciliation bill to jam through something that has nothing to do with budget reconciliation. From Breitbart:

President Joe Biden told Hispanic members of Congress on Tuesday he supported the idea of moving legislation on immigration reform using budget reconciliation and a simple Democrat majority.

Border shock: Eighteen-wheelers unloading migrants and drugs, and ‘cartels are having a field day’

Mexican crime cartels, never seeing the U.S. border so inviting as it has been under President Joe Biden, are openly driving to the border with tractor trailers full of illegal immigrants and drugs to unload their cargo, according to a new report.

For the first time, 18-wheelers are stopping at the Rio Grande to dump their cargo in the poorly defended Big Bend areas of West Texas as cartels shop for new crossing points. . .
