Cops Searching for Teenage Illegal Alien for Cartel Assassination Attempt in Texas

LUBBOCK, Texas -- Cops are on the hunt for a previously deported 14-year-old illegal alien suspected of trying to execute a teenaged human smuggler on the Texas border in an apparent cartel hit. The victim in the case had a lengthy criminal history that had already resulted in two deaths.

While details remain unknown....

...Breitbart Texas has learned that the teenager has a lengthy criminal history that includes several human smuggling arrests and deportations. In October, 2012 the victim drove a red Ford pickup filled with illegal aliens as he tried to elude authorities. The pursuit ended near the border town of La Joya when a Texas State Trooper in a helicopter fired several shots at the truck eventually blowing out its tires. The bullets struck three illegal aliens from Guatemala killing two of them. Since the shooting, DPS has changed its use of force policies.

Authorities have developed a person of interest in the case, however Breitbart Texas has learned that a possible suspect is a 14-year-old male who had been previously been arrested and charged in juvenile court and had been deported three weeks ago. Law enforcement sources have confirmed to Breitbart Texas that one of the leads that investigators are looking at is a possible cartel hit. Gov Rick Perry Warns Americans – Be Concerned That ISIS Terrorists Are Crossing Border

Texas Governor Rick Perry says it’s no surprise to him that four individuals with terrorism ties were captured on Texas soil on September tenth. He says it is indicative of the reason they have been bringing this issue to the attention of the federal government for some time.

Perry cites the movement of various law enforcement and Texas National Guard units to the border as the type of response that is needed, one that has already been demonstrated as effective in controlling a significant portion of the influx.

Governor Perry says that all Americans should be substantially concerned “That the southern border of the United States and Mexico is potentially a place where radicalized terrorists could penetrate into the United States with intent to do harm to American citizens.

He says, “That is the reason that the federal government continues to fail, from my perspective, in securing that border, putting the resources there that we know can make that border substantially more secure than it is today.”

Perry addresses the request that his state has had into the FAA to allow the use of drones for surveillance and a failure to respond or authorize their use as evidence that the federal government is not serious about correcting the problem.

He says, “I don’t think we’ve got the federal government’s agreement that this is as big of a problem as what a lot of us in this country and I can assure you that those farmers, those ranchers, those individuals that have seen these people penetrating across the border, crossing their land, and then that’s not to mention the thousands of criminal activities that have gone on by individuals who have come into the State of Texas and then go across this country and committing criminal acts.”

Hannity asks Governor Perry why there is not more of a sense of urgency and recognition of the threat of terrorism to this, our most vulnerable and easily penetrated security weakness.

Governor Perry says he can’t explain it. He feels this country is capable of multi-tasking and that we have the ability to defend ourselves here at home, we just don’t have the will, particularly within the executive branch.

He says that the American people want security; they want to feel safe in their homes and their communities. Border enforcement provides that and both the executive branch and terror groups such as ISIS are working to tear that down.

The Mexican president has labeled Governor Perry as reprehensible for acting in the interest of Texas and of the United States. Governor Perry sent a letter of response yesterday, which identified a portion of the role that Mexico has played in the lawless situation on our border. The governor has trade considerations which seem to have tempered his comments. Mexico is in many ways one of the greatest threats to the United States, particularly as it applies to their contributing to people crossing into our nation illegally.

Hannity points out the hypocrisy with which Mexico criticizes American immigration laws which are less rigid and much less stringently enforced than their own.

Immigration Chicanery

The strategists who base their political advice on public opinion polls have just had a surprise. A new poll reports that the American people are now more likely to trust Republicans to handle immigration and less likely to trust Democratic plans to offer illegals a path to citizenship (a.k.a. amnesty).

The new survey is decisive; 35 percent say the Republican Party would do a better job on immigration while only 27 percent say the Democrats would. That’s a dramatic reversal from the previous year.

The Wall Street Journal poll also revealed another change in public opinion that should get the attention of candidates. Support for the much-discussed “pathway to citizenship” has dropped significantly from 64 percent in April to 53 percent today.

Obama was saying all summer that his plan was to bypass Congress and the Constitution and issue an “executive amnesty” for millions of illegal aliens. His amnesty plan has since changed to be issued only after the 2014 elections so as not to defeat Democrats up for election in November.

His planned amnesty will include work permits, photo IDs, and Social Security numbers for millions of people who entered the U.S. illegally, overstayed their visas, or defrauded U.S. immigration authorities.

As Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL) said, “Never in recent memory has the divide between the everyday citizen and the political elite been as wide as it is now.” He says the immigration debate comes down to several major questions:

Does our country have the right to decide who comes to live and work here? Do we have the right to demand that our representatives enforce our laws? Should American workers get priority for jobs?

If your answer is Yes, it is essential to block Obama’s planned executive amnesty and demand that Harry Reid call this up for a vote.

As Sessions said, “Let this sink in. The majority leader of the Senate is bragging that he knows the president will circumvent Congress to issue executive amnesty to millions.” Read more about Immigration Chicanery

Rep. DeFazio to Host 20 Town Hall Meetings

Rep. Peter DeFazio has announced a series of town hall meetings to be held during the August recess of Congress. His news release says he "will travel the district to meet with constituents to discuss jobs and transportation legislation, the federal budget, Social Security, Medicare, port dredging and other issues relevant to Oregon’s Fourth Congressional District. The town hall meetings will also give constituents an opportunity to share their opinions and have Rep. DeFazio answer their questions about federal issues.

Meetings are open to members of the public as well as the media.  Remember - Representative Defazio works for you!

Please attend a meeting if possible and express your opinions about Rep. DeFazio’s August 1, 2014 vote to have President Obama continue his lawless course of amnesties for illegal aliens, motivating thousands more to come, while citizens struggle to find jobs and see wages declining due to competition from illegal aliens. OFIR members will surely have thoughts of their own to express and questions to ask. If you’d like suggestions, here are some issues for discussion with Rep. DeFazio.

1. There have been 7 major amnesties passed by Congress from 1986 to 2000, each resulting in ever-increasing numbers of illegal immigrants. Now another huge amnesty is being pushed. We need enforcement of the immigration laws, not another amnesty. We need E-Verify mandated, to ensure that all employed persons are here legally. E-Verify is accurate and ready for expansion. Will you work to make E-Verify mandatory?

2. Unemployment persists as a major problem in Oregon and U.S. businesses can and do hire illegal aliens at substandard wages in construction, agriculture, hotels, restaurants and more. Why don’t you do more to stop the hiring of illegal aliens?

3. States that have E-Verify laws have seen a decline in the illegal alien population. This shows that many illegal aliens will leave if they cannot find jobs. There’s no need for mass deportations and no one is advocating that. There is no need for another amnesty. Simply require implementation of E-Verify and honest enforcement of other immigration laws. This would bring decreases in numbers of illegal aliens and also discourage others from attempting to enter illegally.

4. Giving benefits to illegal aliens such as driver’s licenses, in-state tuition, etc. legitimizes their presence here and rewards illegal behavior.  Citizenship and the rule of law must be cherished and respected, or our nation is on a slippery slope into the culture of corruption from which many immigrants claim to be escaping.  What are you doing to strengthen U.S. immigration law enforcement?

5. Did you know that between the Censuses of 2000 and 2010, 80% of population growth resulted from immigration (immigrants plus the children of immigrants). The U.S. is already overcrowded. After more than 4 decades of unprecedentedly high immigration, we need a pause, a moratorium on immigration, or we face a steep decline in the quality of life for everyone. Are you willing to say No to the lobbies constantly pushing for amnesties and more immigration?

Rep. Walden to hold Town Halls in NE Oregon

Congressman Greg Walden will be holding 3 public meetings in NE Oregon this Friday, August 8. The meetings are in Union, Wallowa, and Umatilla counties.

According to an internet announcement, Walden will give an update on his work in Oregon and Washington, D.C. and take questions from residents. “These town hall meetings are another way I keep in close touch with the concerns of Oregonians. I will answer questions from attendees and give an update on local issues that remain my priorities, including strengthening our rural communities, promoting access to public lands, protecting private water and property rights, and increasing access to quality, affordable health care,” Walden said.

Times and locations for the meetings are shown below.

Please attend if possible, and stress to Rep. Walden the importance of restraining Pres. Obama’s moves for amnesties to illegal aliens. Rep. Walden voted on August 1 for the House bill asserting power to de-fund such Presidential overreaches, which usurp the authority of Congress to make immigration law. We should thank Rep. Walden for voting Yes on this bill, and urge him to continue to stand firmly in support of immigration law enforcement.

OFIR President to address Salem 9-12 group

Alert date:
August 5, 2014
Alert body:

From the Salem 9-12 meeting announcement:

With the recent crisis on the border, with thousands of unaccompanied minors coming over in floods, with our government turning a blind eye and literally hiding their actions from public scrutiny, it's more important than ever for us to not turn a blind eye ourselves. We need to be aware of how Illegal Immigration is being addressed here in Oregon.

Salem 912 Project
Friday August 8 - 6:30 pm
Scottish Rite Center
4090 Commercial St SE
Salem, Oregon

Our guest speaker will be Cynthia Kendoll, from Oregonians for Immigration Reform. She will speak to us about the upcoming Ballot Measure 88 - Protect Oregon Driver Licenses referendum, as well as the recent nation-wide invasions and what we can do here in Oregon. If we don't stand up here, we might as well sit and turn that blind eye.

Cynthia Kendoll is President of Oregonians for Immigration Reform (OFIR), Authorized Agent and Statewide Campaign manager for the Protect Oregon Driver Licenses (PODL) citizen's veto referendum and an Advisory Board member of Colorado Alliance for Immigration Reform (CAIRCO).

Ongoing efforts to stay up-to-date with what's happening regarding immigration issues takes Cynthia to our southern border for the third time this September to attend National Sheriffs Border School and often to Washington DC to lobby Congress and meet with National immigration group leaders. In October, she will be a keynote speaker at a conference in DC.

For the past 14 months, Cynthia spearheaded the efforts to overturn SB 833 - the bill granting state issued ID - in the form of driver cards - to illegal aliens. Running a successful citizens veto referendum and now working toward the upcoming election campaign fills all of Cynthia's time.
