House Republicans Release Report Showing Shockingly Few Deportations Under Biden

A new report from Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee found that over 99% of illegal immigrants released into the U.S. from January 2021 to March 2023 under President Joe Biden ended up staying in the U.S.

The report, from the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration Integrity, Security, and Enforcement, details how little deportations have taken place under Biden and says that few of those released into the U.S. were actually screened for persecution claims. The report said the total number of illegal immigrants released into the U.S. during the time in question was 2,148,738 and that over 204,000 were released through “illegal categorical parole programs.” . . . Mayorkas Won't Say How Many Illegal Immigrants Admitted Into US, During Tense Exchange With Sen. Johnson

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas's steadfast refusal to say how many illegal immigrants have been allowed by federal immigration officials to enter the United States in recent years, or their current whereabouts, shows he knows that it's a national security threat but won't acknowledge it, according to Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.).

“The security threat is that we don't know who these people are—1.7 million known gotaways," Mr. Johnson told The Epoch Times. "We're just detecting them coming in. Plus, we have no idea where these people are. We just let 6 million people in this country, and we don't know a thing about them, [or] what they may be up to.

"In a dangerous world, that's a real threat to . . . Read more about Mayorkas Won't Say How Many Illegal Immigrants Admitted Into US, During Tense Exchange With Sen. Johnson

Migrant Surge in Texas Border Town Outpacing Haitian Crisis of 2021

EAGLE PASS, Texas — An estimated 1,500 mostly Venezuelan migrants entered the small border town of Eagle Pass, Texas,  during the late evening hours on Tuesday. The latest group of migrants to surrender to authorities brings the eight-day total of migrant crossings to more than 16,000. It took ten full days in September 2021 for 15,000 mostly Haitian migrants to ford the river during the infamous immigration surge in Del Rio.

In just over a week, Breitbart Texas observed more than 16,000 migrants stream across the Rio Grande from Piedras Negras, Coahuila, to Eagle Pass. Despite the heavy presence of local, state, and federal law enforcement, Texas military soldiers, and layers of razor wire, the migrants crossed the border into Texas unscathed. . . . Nearly a Quarter of a Million Illegal Migrant Encounters in July Shows Illegal Immigration is Not Abating, Says FAIR

“Despite the happy talk coming out of the Biden administration, claiming that their policies have reduced illegal immigration, the July Customs and Border Protection (CBP) data show precisely the opposite. Overall CBP encounters in July were 245,286, up from 238,929 in July 2022. Even Southwest Border encounters between ports of entry – which had been artificially reduced because the administration has been massively abusing its parole authority to allow many inadmissible aliens to enter – rose sharply in July, even as temperatures soared into the triple digits. . . . Biden administration sending surge of ICE special agents to border amid increase in migrant numbers

EXCLUSIVE: The Biden administration is increasing the number of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) special agents who are part of the enforcement agency’s investigative arm, dispatching them to the southern border amid what officials say is an increase in migrant numbers.

An email sent to ICE agents last week and seen by Fox News Digital says there has been a rise in migrant encounters, so Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) is increasing its Operation Expanded Impact (OEI) numbers from 60 to 200.

Agents are being deployed to key sectors in Texas, Arizona and California.

Agents were being sent Wednesday and more will be deployed Monday. OEI was launched last year as part of a DHS effort to target transnational criminal organizations involved in smuggling and human activity. . . .
