OBAMA ENDS AIR WATCH ON DRUGS, ILLEGALS

If you had any lingering doubt that Obama was on-purpose trying to destroy America and Americans, and flood us with criminals, drugs, Jihadi, illegals, violence and death, then this new information could maybe tarnish the luster on your day.

“No Borders,” is a bad idea. That is, unless you’re a deranged liberal. The ones I’ve talked to seem to think these crimes on the border—of allowing illegal entry, catch, and release; or don’t even catch—are all just perfectly ducky. “I welcome all brothers and sisters,” they have said to me; whatever that means, I don’t know.

Whose brother? Whose sister? Oh, wait…I know, the 30 or 50 other family members each illegal could personally bring in. And then THEIR brothers and sisters.

Yeah. Right. Over the cold, dead body of America.

Oh. and talking to a liberal about ANYthing political is like talking to an inmate of a psychiatric center...

Forget it. Forget them. But here’s what I was going to tell you:

From Breitbart.com (Nov. 18, 2016):

“The new orders by the Obama Administration to release Haitians caught at the border will only exacerbate the current situation since Mexican cartels are now coaching illegal aliens on how to game the U.S. immigration system, Border Patrol agents said.

“As Breitbart Texas reported, the current administration is moving to release hundreds of Haitians being held in detection centers in Arizona and California. The result of that release will be a new marketing tool for Mexican cartels and human smuggling organizations, said Hector Garza, National Border Patrol Council Local 2455 President during an exclusive interview with Breitbart Texas.

‘They are being told that all they have to do is request asylum and claim to be in fear and they will be released,’ said Garza who is a U.S. Border Patrol agent but is able to talk to the media in his capacity as local union president.

“In the case of Haitians, Breitbart Texas has reported on how they arrive to Mexico claiming to be African to receive a 20-day permit to pass through the country northward. With that permit, they have been arriving at U.S. international bridges requesting asylum.

“The move continues to overwhelm U.S. authorities as the number of asylum seekers continues to rise, adding more work to the already overwhelmed agents who, according to NBPC officials, [on purpose deprived by Obama] lack manpower, equipment, and help from Washington.”

And there’s this, also from Breitbart.com (Nov. 20, 2016):

“DHS officials quietly shutdown the military aerial support program known as Operation Phalanx…The DHS, which has a history of lying to the public about the actual situation along the Mexican border, asserted that illegal crossing have declined along the Texas-Mexico border…Breitbart Texas has reported extensively throughout the year about the increasing numbers of border crossing apprehensions…In the months leading up to the election of President-Elect Donald Trump, immigrants began flooding across the border at record numbers…Operation Phalanx utilized Nation Guard UH-72 Lakota helicopters specially equipped with night vision and other surveillance equipment…The shutdown of Operation Phalanx comes as [Obama’s personal, know-nothing sock puppet] Secretary Jeh Johnson’s term of service is about to come to an end. He will be replaced in January by a DHS Secretary selected by President-Elect Trump who has promised more aggressive action in securing the nation’s southern border….”

Jeh Johnson and Obama gone? Free at last! Free at last! Thank Father God Almighty for Donald Trump, because we are free at last!

That is…if Obama actually allows Trump to assume power; if he is not nullified by Obama’s Masters; if he is not harmed by the Marxist, Islamist, foreign Trillionaires and Rulers of Earth who finance and run this violent, sickening, entirely Democrat caper.

Immigration Officers Endorse Trump

The National Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Council made its first political endorsement in a national campaign Monday, backing Donald Trump on the morning of the first presidential debate.

The National ICE Council, the union representing 5,000 federal immigration officers and law enforcement support staff, decided to endorse the GOP nominee after carefully considering the impact a Hillary Clinton presidency would have on their officers. Saying that Clinton has embraced the “unconstitutional executive orders” of President Barack Obama, Chris Crane, president of the National ICE Council, said in a statement that these orders “have forced our officers to violate their oaths to uphold the law and placed every person living in America at risk — including increased risk of terrorism.”

“Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, has promised the most radical immigration agenda proposal in U.S. history,” Crane added. “Her radical plan would result in the loss of thousands of innocent American lives, mass victimization and death for many attempting to immigrate to the United States, the total gutting of interior enforcement, the handcuffing of ICE officers, and an uncontrollable flood of illegal immigrants across U.S. borders.”

“The non-enforcement agenda of this administration, favored by Secretary Clinton, results in the daily loss of life and victimization of many, to include not only American citizens but also those attempting to immigrate to our country.”

Crane noted ICE officers provide the “last line of defense” for American communities against the threats posed by illegal immigration. Lamenting the fact that the officers are “underfunded and undermanned” as they try to uphold and enforce U.S. laws, Crane painted a bleak picture of the current situation faced by ICE officers.

“Our officers come into daily contact with many of the most dangerous people in the world — cartel members, gang members, weapons traffickers, murder suspects, drug dealers, suspects of violent assault — yet ICE officers are unable to arrest or are forced to release many of the most dangerous back into U.S. communities due to unscrupulous political agendas and corrupt leaders,” Crane said.

After noting that only 5 percent of the council's membership supported Clinton's presidential bid, Crane lambasted the Democratic presidential nominee for catering to the special interest groups and "open-borders radicals" all in the name of "cheap labor, greed and votes."

"Let us be clear: The non-enforcement agenda of this administration, favored by Secretary Clinton, results in the daily loss of life and victimization of many, to include not only American citizens but also those attempting to immigrate to our country," Crane said. "These victims will never have their photos shown on TV, but their families' suffering is no less real."

Crane praised Trump for his willingness to meet with him and discuss his policies and goals for improving and aiding immigration enforcement.

"America has been lied to about every aspect of immigration in the United States," Crane concluded. "We can fix our broken immigration system, and we can do it in a way that honors America's legacy as a land of immigrants, but Donald Trump is the only candidate who is willing to put politics aside so that we can achieve that goal." A letter from The National Association of Former Border Patrol Officers to the American People

The appointment of Mark Morgan as Chief of the U.S. Border Patrol is the same as President Obama sitting in that chair.

By now Americans that are paying attention realize that our way of life is under attack by this administration and our institutions have been systematically corrupted by their influence.  This message to the American people is to assist those that do care and are paying attention to connect the dots about how this administration is proceeding with their anti-American agenda to further corrupt border security.   These similarly embedded corruptive agents that remain throughout government after this administration expires will continue their agenda if permitted to do so.

We watched in disgust as the ACLU, SPLC and the Department of Justice joined hands to attack the U.S. Border Patrol for unnecessary violence which was a bogus claim.  We understood at the time those were the first major shots fired by this administration to fundamentally transform and cut the effectiveness of the U.S. Border Patrol to zero when it began.

Unfortunately, few in Washington D.C. care about National Security and Public Safety and gleefully go along with the administrations attack program that coincides with the Central American surge and the vast un-vetted numbers coming in under the guise of Refugee Resettlement.  Silence is as effective an assent as a yea vote to these plans.

Such official D.C. chicanery gives credence to those doubting any actions by this government consider what is best for the American people.

This  "appointment" is quite obviously another glaring example at first glance.

Sent: Monday, June 20, 2016 7:57 AM
Subject: Commissioner's Message: Commissioner Kerlikowske Announces Border Patrol Chief (Kerlikowske reports to Jeh Johnson who reports to President Obama.)

This morning I will be announcing that I have selected Mark Morgan as chief of the U.S. Border Patrol.  You will see from Mark's long career in law enforcement and the leadership positions he has held that he will fulfill at the highest level the obligations and responsibilities of leading the outstanding law enforcement organization that is the Border Patrol.  There was a national search for a chief and a professional and objective process used to select Mr. Morgan.  The pool of candidates who applied yielded an array of extremely experienced, dedicated, and professional law enforcement executives in federal law enforcement and within the Border Patrol who sought this critical position.

I also want to address very directly the selection of someone who is not a part of the Border Patrol, (which is obviously part of the objective criteria?)   The position of a law enforcement chief at the local, state, or federal level is one that demands an exhausting commitment of time; time that must be spent analyzing its future in light of rapid changes and time charting a course from a variety of perspectives.  (NAFBPO comment, based on political objectives not related to enforcing existing law which constitutes a fundamental transformation.)  That is why almost all federal law enforcement agencies have at various times chosen someone from outside their ranks to make that assessment and chart that course.  (The border patrol did not make this choice, the Obama Administration made the choice which is the same as President Obama filling the position in person.)  The U.S. Capitol Police (Vince Foster), U.S. Park Police, Coast Guard CID, Naval Criminal Investigative Service, ATF (fast & furious), and DEA among others have done the same in addition to large local and state law enforcement organizations across the country.  None of those decisions to have a leader from outside the organization (officially) reflected negatively on the current leadership of those agencies.  In the case of the Border Patrol, the current leadership across the top, from Headquarters to the field, consists of the finest group of men and women that I have worked with in my more than 40 years in law enforcement.

I welcome Mark as an important member of President Obama's leadership team at CBP and DHS and firmly believe that his experience listed below and long and successful career in law enforcement will be of great value to the men and women of the U.S. Border Patrol.  (We doubt very seriously that Mark Morgan will benefit the National Security and Public Safety of America or the American people.)

R. Gil Kerlikowske  Commissioner

Mark Morgan

Mark Morgan joins U.S. Customs and Border Protection with a 30-year career in the military and law enforcement related to anti-terrorism and border security operations.  (Specifically, what were each and all of his contributions in fact, not in vague undefined terms?)

Mr. Morgan has a 20-year career at the Federal Bureau of Investigation where he is an Assistant Director. During his time at the FBI, which began as a special agent in 1996 assigned to the Los Angeles Field Office, Mr. Morgan served in multiple leadership positions.

In 2008, Mr. Morgan served as the Deputy On-Scene in Baghdad, Iraq where he was responsible for all FBI personnel and operations within the Iraq Theater of Operations within the Counterterrorism Division. (Specifically, what did he do?  Did he assist in drafting the rules of engagement for U.S. Military there?  Perhaps screening information deemed not appropriate for the American public? )

In 2010, he was named the Section Chief of the Strategic Information and Operations Center, with responsibility for leading the FBI’s global command and strategic intelligence center.  (During the phase of the rise of ISIS what specifically were all of his recommendations, published and unpublished?)

The following year,  2011, Mr. Morgan was appointed as the Special Agent in Charge of the El Paso Division, where he was responsible for leading all threat-based and intelligence driven counterterrorism, criminal, cyber, and counterintelligence operations extending from the western tip of Texas to the City of Midland.  (Was he involved in ensuring final development of the Transnational Crime Corridor from Juarez, CHIH, Mexico, into the United States by Wilderness Designations created by an Obama Executive Order in the Potrillo Mountains over the will of the people in the Southwest:

From 3 minutes 58 seconds to 14 minutes 8 seconds.

In 2013, as the Deputy Assistant Director, Inspection Division, Mr. Morgan directed day to day operations to ensure compliance and facilitate the improvement of performance by providing independent, evaluative oversight of all FBI investigative and administrative operations. (Specifically, did this include removing all training references to radical islamic jihad, Muslim Brotherhood and similar material from training texts and existing investigators guides ?)

In, 2014, Mr. Morgan served in a detail assignment with CBP as the Acting Assistant Commissioner for Internal Affairs where he planned, organized, and coordinated the complete re-design of CBP’s Use of Force Incident Response protocols. He directed operations related to the screening of potential employees for suitability, implemented internal security measures, and launched CBP’s criminal and serious administrative misconduct investigative unit. In this position, he was responsible for obtaining CBP’s new authority to investigate allegations of misconduct against CBP employees.  (Specifically, did this include commendation medals for Agents engaged in deadly force situations wherein they did not use deadly force?  Objectively speaking, what exactly did he cause to be implemented ?)

In 2015, he was appointed as Assistant Director of the FBI’s Training Division, in Quantico, Virginia, with responsibility for overseeing the delivery of training, professional development and defensive systems to the FBI workforce, and domestic national security, law enforcement, and international partners throughout the world.  (Specifically, did part of this training serve as a policy blindfold to investigators for incidents like Fort Hood, San Jose and Orlando?)

Mr. Morgan was an active-duty member and reservist in the U.S. Marine Corps.  Before joining the FBI, he served as a deputy sheriff in Platte County, Missouri and as an officer in the Los Angeles Police Department. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Central Missouri State University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.  (Major Hassan was on active duty with the U.S. Army.  Mateen was a security guard for Wackenhut before he became front page in Orlando.  Whatever else are Morgan's qualifications we can be assured his main qualification is carrying out the Obama administrations policies as being levied against law enforcement agencies nationwide and further avoids protecting National Security and Public Safety through strict enforcement of existing Immigration Law Read more about A letter from The National Association of Former Border Patrol Officers to the American People

'At the limit,' Mexico buckles under migrant surge to U.S.

TAPACHULA, Mexico/WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Mexico is struggling to stem the flow of Central American migrants traveling to the United States ahead of the U.S. presidential election, causing major concern in Washington, which is weighing sending more agents to help.

In 2014, Mexico moved to strengthen its southern border when a surge in child migrants from Central America sparked a political crisis in the United States.

Last year, Mexico detained over 190,000 migrants, more than double the number in 2012.

But official data examined by Reuters shows that fewer migrants have been captured in Mexico this year even as the number caught on the U.S. border has soared.

The slowdown in detentions on Mexican soil is frustrating U.S. officials who feel that Mexico could be doing more, according to a source familiar with internal briefings on the topic at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Illegal immigration is stoking a fierce debate ahead of the U.S. election on Nov. 8 with Republican candidate Donald Trump vowing to deport millions of people and build a wall along the Mexican border if elected president.

Mexico says its National Migration Institute (INM), which regulates migration in the country, is already working flat out...

The number of families stopped at the U.S.-Mexico border jumped 122 percent between October 2015 and April 2016...

The number of detained "unaccompanied minors" - children traveling without relatives - was 74 percent higher. Most of the Central Americans come from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.

Despite those increases, fewer migrants are being caught as they move through Mexico....

The DHS is considering sending more agents south to train Mexican officials on how to track human traffickers and stop migrants crossing the Mexico-Guatemala border, according to an internal briefing document obtained by Reuters.

U.S. Representative Henry Cuellar, who sits on the House Homeland Security Appropriations Subcommittee, said DHS officials told him they hope to help Mexico strengthen its southern border.

"When you're constantly working at full speed and don't have all the resources because your primary mission is to fight the drug cartels, yeah, you're going to be stretched," Cuellar said....

Roque Villanueva attributed the migrant surge to people finding new routes past checkpoints...

LEAKY BORDER

In 2014, Mexico launched the "Plan Frontera Sur" to tighten border controls, register migrants and stop them using the perilous network of trains known as "La Bestia", or "The Beast".

But migrants quickly adapted.

Elisabel Enriquez, Guatemala's vice-consul in Tapachula, said migrant smugglers now rent trucks and shuttling migrants from southern Mexico all the way to the U.S. border over 2,000 km away for up to $8,000 per person.

Two such trucks were stopped in recent weeks, she said, one stuffed with about 115 migrants and the other about 60.

Some migrants immediately apply for asylum on arrival in Mexico. Once granted a refugee visa, they can travel through Mexico without fear of being deported, said Irmgard Pund, who runs the local Belen migrant shelter.

So far this year, asylum applications with Mexican refugee agency COMAR are up over 150 percent compared with 2015...

The rise in families heading north is partly due to a 2015 U.S federal court decision limiting the time mothers and children can be held in detention, which has created the mistaken impression they can stay in the United States, U.S. officials say.

A regional drought in Central America has also increased pressure to leave, while some migrants are trying to cross ahead of the election in case Trump wins and follows through on his campaign promises, making it more difficult for them in the future.

Compared to their U.S. counterparts, Mexico's migration authorities get by on a shoestring. The INM spent 4.14 billion pesos ($228.37 million) in 2015, less than 2 percent of the CBP's budget request for 2016.

The United States has tripled its border force under President Barack Obama to 60,000 staff, while the INM has 5,383 employees.

Roque Villanueva said the fall in the price of oil, which funds about a fifth of Mexico's federal budget, makes it even harder to put new resources into the INM.

Nonetheless, he said Mexico and the United States would continue to work closely together as Washington has plenty of reasons for wanting a robust southern Mexican border.

"The Americans are not so worried by how many Central Americans get through, but rather about making sure nobody with even the slightest chance of being a terrorist does," he said.

18,000 Illegal Aliens Caught in 5 Months — In Single Texas Sector

Border Patrol agents assigned to the Laredo Sector had an impressive first five months of the current fiscal year which began in October 2015. 17,945 apprehensions were made of illegal aliens who had crossed the border from Mexico...  In addition, large quantities of drugs were seized and 33 bodies of illegal immigrants were found.

The Laredo Sector covers 101 counties in Texas. This area represents 86,793 square miles of the Lone Star State. It covers a distance of 171 miles of the Rio Grande River border with Mexico and runs northward from Laredo through Dallas to the Oklahoma border on the Red River.

Highlighting the accomplishments of the sector during that period, Border Patrol officials reported the seizure of 41,188 pounds of marijuana, 341.17 pounds of cocaine, and 863.17 pounds of heroin. Unfortunately, 33 bodies of illegal immigrants who died while entering the U.S. were found by these agents. Additionally, 184 rescues were carried out.

“These statistics represent the hard work, commitment, honor and dedication that the men and women of the U.S. Border Patrol provide everyday while securing our Nation’s borders,” Laredo Sector Chief Mario Martinez said in the statement obtained by Breitbart Texas...

“We are very proud of our Border Patrol agents and grateful for the hard work these numbers represent,” Garza continued. “Unfortunately, what we do not know is how many people successfully crossed the border undetected...

The report was sent out by officials late Friday afternoon...  The report does not disclose how many of the 17,945 people apprehended were returned to their country of origin or how many of those people were released into the United States, with or without a notice to appear for an immigration hearing...

The sector is also in the process of adding an additional all-weather road to allow agents to more quickly access sections of the river area and respond to situations where either people or drugs are crossing the border.

Illegal immigrant children, non-Mexicans surge across border at record rate

Mr. Obama has been pleading with Congress to enact a more lenient policy toward illegal immigrants, but his efforts took a hit when tens of thousands of children and families surged across the border in the first half of 2014. The administration was caught off guard and had to scramble to try to gain a handle on matters.

At the height of the surge, some 10,000 children crossed per month. The number dropped to about 2,000 a month earlier this year but has risen steadily back to nearly 5,000 a month in September and October, and is on pace for about 5,000 in November.

The surge of illegal immigrant children puts a strain on other parts of government.

Under federal policy children from noncontiguous countries who are apprehended without being accompanied by parents are required to be processed and quickly released to the Department of Health and Human Services, which then tries to place them with relatives or in foster homes. Local school districts have struggled to accommodate the children, many of whom lag behind their age level in education and struggle with learning English.

More than 4,600 children were turned over to HHS in October, and November was headed even higher, with HHS predicting 4,900 children will be sent to its custody.

Once with families, the children usually skip their deportation hearings and disappear into the shadows with the 11 million other illegal immigrants already here.

The rising tide of illegal immigrants could also feed into the presidential campaign, where Republican hopeful Donald Trump has called for building more fencing.

Even Democratic front-runner Hillary Rodham Clinton recently bragged about her 2006 vote in favor of erecting 700 miles of two-tier fencing along the southwest border.

That law was watered down a year later, at the behest of then-Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, Texas Republican, and less than 40 miles of two-tier fencing has been built. Another 310 or so miles of single-tier fencing was built, along with 300 miles of vehicle barriers that allow people and animals to cross. BREAKING: US CBP Chopper Down at Texas Border, Fired on from Mexico

Breitbart Texas has learned that a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) helicopter was shot down or forced to initiate an emergency landing in Laredo, Texas due to receiving gunfire from the Mexican side of the border. The helicopter was interdicting a narcotics load and working alongside agents from the U.S. Border Patrol, who operate under the umbrella of the CBP. The helicopter was operating in the Laredo Sector of Texas, immediately across the border from the Los Zetas cartel headquarters of Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.

The helicopter was in U.S. airspace and participating in the interdiction of a narcotics load coming from Mexico into the United States.

A federal agent who spoke with Breitbart Texas on the condition of anonymity said, “U.S. Border Patrol agents were attempting to intercept a drug load. A law enforcement chopper was assisting Border Patrol agents. The chopper received gunfire from the Mexican side of the border. The chopper had to do an emergency landing due to the gunfire.”..

UPDATES:

The shooting occurred in an area known as La Bota Ranch, a subdivision of Laredo, Texas....

Another source close to the matter told Breitbart Texas that “at least five shots were fired from Mexico ...

The Federal Bureau of Investigation released this statement to Breitbart Texas:

On June 5, 2015, at approximately 5:00pm during an operational flight near the Rio Grande River in Laredo, Texas, a US Customs and Border Patrol (USCBP) helicopter was struck several times by ground fire.  The rounds penetrated and damaged the aircraft, forcing the pilot to make an emergency landing.   The pilot sustained no injuries and no individuals on the ground were affected.   USCBP, FBI, Texas Rangers, Homeland Security Investigations and Laredo Police Department responded to the scene.  The FBI has initiated an investigation and will continue processing the crime scene with the Texas Rangers.  Since this is an ongoing matter, no further details will be provided at this time.  Read more about BREAKING: US CBP Chopper Down at Texas Border, Fired on from Mexico

Border Patrol: Increase in Sex Offenders Crossing the Border

RIO GRANDE VALLEY - The Border Patrol is reporting a severe spike in sex offenders sneaking into the U.S.

According to the feds, illegal immigrant sex offenders have been caught in every corner of the Rio Grande Valley.

Border Patrol agents are running into more sex offenders this year than last year.

Within the last five months, 144 apprehended.

During the same time last year, 93 sex offenders were caught trying to fly under the radar.

In December, a woman from El Salvador was picked up, who was convicted of child sex assault back in 2009. It reportedly happened in Dallas County.

Later that month, three Mexican nationals were caught near Harlingen.

In February, seven sex offenders were rounded up near McAllen, Harlingen, Falfurrias and Kingsville.

Less than a week later, another two Mexican nationals were caught. Two days ago, two Guatemalan men were arrested.

The sex offenders go to great lengths to avoid capture. Agents said they often travel through South Texas brush and try to blend in with large groups of illegal immigrants.

Border Patrol agents are using sophisticated software that search criminal databases worldwide. They have strengthened their biometric technology, which scans fingerprints, scans retinas, and has facial recognition.

Agents cannot say why more sex offenders are attempting to cross. They often try to travel to the U.S. to avoid legal repercussions for the crimes they committed in their home countries.

The Border Patrol is also tracking an uptick in rescues. They are seeing a spike in both search and rescues on the Rio Grande and deaths. Read more about Border Patrol: Increase in Sex Offenders Crossing the Border

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer to address Lane County Lincoln Day dinner

Alert date:
April 5, 2015
Alert body:

One of the true heroes in the fight against illegal immigration on our southern border is former Arizona Governor Jan Brewer. We are so fortunate to have her traveling to Oregon to speak at the Lane County Lincoln Day dinner (more info. below).  OFIR President Cynthia Kendoll has been invited as a special guest.

OFIR encourages you to attend this very special event!  Read more about Governor Brewer.

Lane County Republican Party is honored to host keynote speaker, former Arizona Governor Jan Brewer during our 2015 Lincoln Day Dinner, Thursday, April 9th.  It will be held at Valley River Inn, 1000 Valley River Way, Eugene

For decades, the federal government has failed to fulfill its constitutional and statutory duties to secure the border and restore integrity to our immigration system.  In response, Governor Brewer crafted state-level solutions, such as SB1070, aimed at protecting the people of Arizona from illegal activities.  When the Obama Administration challenged SB 1070 in court, the Governor stood up for their state's rights and Arizona's responsibility to keep its people safe.  Ultimately, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld Arizona's hotly disputed part of SB 1070 and Governor Brewer.  Additionally, she repeatedly urged President Obama and Congress to utilize the National Guard, Border Patrol and technology to secure the U.S. southern border.

We are privileged to welcome Governor Brewer's political courage and strength of character to Eugene.

As we have discovered, elections have consequences.  This event will help us prepare for the 2016 election to provide Republican candidates with the best tools, volunteers and resources for success in 2016. Help us help them, and see Governor Jan Brewer in person.

Call your US Senators TODAY!

Alert date:
February 2, 2015
Alert body:
First Senate Vote on De-funding Amnesty TUESDAY

The Senate will cast its first vote TUESDAY on the House-passed Department of Homeland Security (DHS) funding bill that de-funds President Obama's executive amnesties. Tuesday's vote at 2:30 pm is a procedural vote - called a motion to proceed to debate the bill - and it simply determines whether the Senate moves forward to debating and amending the bill.

However, pro-amnesty Democrats are planning on obstructing the legislative process by filibustering the motion. If successful, they will be able to prevent the Senate from even discussing the common sense House bill that defunds the executive amnesty. Instead, Senate Democrats are demanding that the Senate pass a "clean" Homeland Security funding bill, one that does not limit the President's ability to exercise "prosecutorial discretion" in immigration matters. In reality, that means a bill that fully funds President Obama's amnesty programs!

Call your Senators today and tomorrow and tell them there is no such thing as a "clean" funding bill for the Department of Homeland Security.

Tomorrow's vote is critical because it takes 60 votes to defeat a filibuster. Importantly, there are at least seven Democratic Senators who voiced opposition to the executive amnesty after voters overwhelmingly rejected President Obama's immigration policies in the November elections. If they uphold their word by voting YES, the DHS funding bill will advance to floor debate.

There is no time to waste! Call your Senators NOW!

FAIR is calling on our members, activists, and supporters to take action NOW to ensure the Senate de-funds President Obama's executive amnesty. There is no time to waste!!! President Obama is already taking steps to implement his new amnesty programs. The Senate must approve the House-passed bill and send it to the President's desk. Then, President Obama will have to decide what is more important to him: funding the Department of Homeland Security or protecting illegal aliens.

Supporting President Obama's executive amnesty is unacceptable; hard-working, taxpaying Americans deserve better than another amnesty and the dismantling of immigration enforcement!

Call your Senators NOW!

Senator Ron Wyden - Phone: (202) 224-5244

Senator Jeff Merkley - Phone: (202) 224-3753

Tell them:

  • You oppose President Obama's executive amnesty
  • You expect them to vote YES on the motion to proceed
  • You want Congress to stop the President's abuse of power, now and in the future
  • You demand that Congress act NOW to rein in President Obama's abuse of power and restore respect for our immigration laws.
