Alert body:

Great News! U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is now posting the list of E-Verify employers and federal contractors on the USCIS E-Verify website. The list is so large it’s divided into 6 databases alphabetically arranged by State. It includes employers and federal contractors who have self-reported that their company has 5 or more employees. It does not include employers of less than 5 employees.

USCIS reports that over 345,000 employers are now enrolled in the E-Verify program nationwide.

The lists on the E-Verify website are on spreadsheets in the Excel computer program, needing either the Microsoft Excel program or the free Microsoft Excel Viewer program to enable viewing. You can download the Excel Viewer program at no cost.

The lists of E-Verify employers are current as of March 15, 2012. They show business name (the name which was used during registration with E-Verify), whether the employer is a federal contractor or not, employer’s city, state and zip code used at time of registration, and workforce size. Lists are to be updated quarterly.
