Switzerland declares a freeze on admission for ‘refugees’

More and more countries are readjusting their asylum and immigration policies under the current onslaught of asylum seekers. Switzerland is now also pulling the emergency brake and does not want to take in any more “refugees”. A “temporary freeze on admissions”, it is said from Bern, is necessary because capacities are exhausted

.Specifically, this means that Switzerland is suspending its participation in the United Nations refugee program. After the arrival of thousands of refugees from Ukraine, the reception capacities are currently exhausted, said the spokesman for the State Secretariat for Migration, Lukas Rieder. The Swiss are now showing the stop sign to migrants from other countries. This also affects “refugees who are particularly in need of protection” selected by the UN. . . . Mayorkas Turns a Blind Eye to the Bad Optics in El Paso

Migrants are entering El Paso, Texas, at a crushing rate of 2,500 a day, but Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas managed to miss them during his visit to the beleaguered border city this week. The surge of illegal aliens is spilling onto the streets of El Paso, taxing already strained social services. Frustrated city officials report that U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is releasing migrants into the community en masse. But    Mayorkas didn’t witness any of this for himself. In a tightly choreographed stop on Tuesday, the secretary met with Border Patrol agents at headquarters but did not tour any CBP processing centers, and he skirted around streets and alleys where migrants are dumped. . . . New Homes For the Holidays: Migrant Families Scatter Across the Several States

If lifting Title 42 triggers a widely anticipated run on the southern border, the question becomes: Where will most of these new migrants end up?2022 government report that tracked the intended destinations of released family units found the largest numbers settled in three states: Florida, New York and Texas. Steady Stream of Migrants Flow into West Texas Border Town Before Title 42 Ends

EAGLE PASS, Texas — Groups of migrants crossed the Rio Grande as the Border Patrol braces for the end of Title 42 enforcement. The parties forded the river and surrendered to authorities near the heart of the city on Tuesday.

The groups, numbering up to 30 in size, walked from the riverbank and surrendered to Texas Army National Guard soldiers posted in the vicinity. The guardsmen detained the migrants and arranged for their transfer to Border Patrol custody.

The crossings are significantly reduced during the daylight hours, according to law enforcement sources in the Eagle Pass area. A source within CBP says . . . Read more about Steady Stream of Migrants Flow into West Texas Border Town Before Title 42 Ends

Texas Governor Seeks Probe of NGOs for Alleged Migrant ‘Illegal Border Crossing’ Assistance

Texas Governor Greg Abbott called on the attorney general to open an investigation into non-government organizations or NGOs who may have assisted in migrant border crossings into the state. The move comes after record-setting large group crossings around El Paso over the weekend.“There have been recent reports that non-governmental organizations may have assisted with illegal border crossings near El Paso,” Governor Abbott wrote in a letter to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. “We further understand NGOs may be engaged in unlawfully orchestrating other border crossings through activities on both sides of the border, including in sectors other than El Paso. In light of these reports, I am calling on the Texas Attorney General’s Office to initiate an investigation into . . . Biden's refugees resettling in Oregon?

A massive three-story apartment building is being built in the small town of Lebanon, Oregon, a building whose developers from the Farm Home Development Council (FHDC) claim is mostly farm workers and disabled vets. But Lebanon turned to mechanized strawberry and bean harvesting long ago. Low maintenance filberts also don't need many farm workers. And how many disabled veterans can afford the market-level rent or climb all those stairs?

It's highly probable that these Colonia Paz apartments are another destination for the millions of illegal aliens who have flooded the U.S. since the Biden Administration began. Incorporating all the children into local school districts will create an extra burden for the local tax payers. This pattern is repeating itself all over Oregon only because citizens tend to find out about the housing boom only after the fact

Fortunately, a small group of concerned citizens in Lebanon is unraveling the origins of the funding and the 501 C-3 organizations who work under the radar to accommodate the future voters being ushered into the state--as destabilizing that may be. This blog will post new discoveries as they occur.

Venezuelans Swarm Across Rio Grande at El Paso, Attack Border Patrol

On Monday, a large group illegally crossed the southern border into the United States at El Paso, Texas and attacked Border Patrol agents. One individual in the group was carrying a giant Venezuelan flag.

Bill Melugin and Adam Shaw of Fox News reported:

[Border Patrol] said one of the protesters assaulted an agent with a flagpole while another threw a rock at agents, injuring one in the process. That in turn led Border Patrol to initiate crowd-control measures.

"These measures included the use of the authorized less-lethal force pepperball launching system," the statement said. "The crowd then dispersed and returned to Mexico." . . . Read more about Venezuelans Swarm Across Rio Grande at El Paso, Attack Border Patrol

FAIR: Federal Judge Knocks Down One of the Last Remaining Barriers to Complete Anarchy at the Border

“Since the moment he took office, President Biden has intentionally worsened an unprecedented surge of illegal migration, with Title 42 serving as the last constraint on his plan to completely abandon enforcement at our southern border. This is a fact that was recognized by border officials and lawmakers in both parties. This decision will lead to a skyrocketing of illegal entries, most of whom the Biden administration will simply process and disperse around the country.

“The initial ruling that kept Title 42 in place prevented the border crisis from becoming much worse, but based on the most recent numbers, it clearly was no match for open borders policies deliberately forced upon the American people. . . .
