More migrants are coming to the United States, and the solution is more U.S. foreign aid to Central America, says Mexico’s foreign minister.

“If you look at the region from different points of view, but especially demographics and economics, it is clear the flows are going to be constant and growing in coming years,” said foreign secretary Marcelo Ebrard, according to an Associated Press April 8 report.

“The United States will have to allocate $2 billion per year for development in these countries, in Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador,” said Ebrard, who is involved in the slow-motion negotiations with the White House about the migration surge into the United States.

The $2 billion per year is roughly twice as much money as the $1 billion per year that President Joe Biden has suggested the U.S. should spend in Central America. . .

Biden Decision to Cancel Immigration Public Charge “Sticks it to Taxpayers,” Says FAIR

(March 12, 2021, Washington, D.C.) – The following statement was released in response to the Biden administration’s decision to cancel the public charge rule in the midst of an immigration crisis.  The statement should be attributed to Dan Stein, president, Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR):

“After decimating immigration enforcement and creating a crisis on our southern border, the Biden administration has decided to stick it to the American taxpayers by canceling a rule that would have barred people who are likely to become public charges from immigrating to the United States legally.

“The rule that would have shielded U.S. taxpayers from having to provide costly public benefits, such as cash benefits for income maintenance, SNAP, most forms of Medicaid, Section 8 Housing Assistance, Section 8 Project-Based Rental Assistance, and certain other forms of subsidized housing, is now gone, and taxpayers will remain on the hook for these costs.

“The principle that immigrants be self-sufficient predates our republic, and has been codified into law since 1882. But none of that, nor the burdens placed on the American people, matters one whit to an administration that is hell-bent on eliminating all rational rules and enforcement where it comes to immigration. . . Immigrant Mass Murder: Two Bangladeshi Teens Wipe Out Own Family In Texas Familicide

A story from Allen, TX, a northern suburb of Dallas, very much buries the lead:

The bodies of six people were found inside an Allen home early Monday morning in an apparent mass murder-suicide, Allen police say.

Officers were asked to perform a welfare check at about 1 a.m. at a home on the 1500 block of Pine Bluff Drive. When officers entered the residence, they discovered the bodies of six people.

The names and ages of the victims have not been confirmed, but police said they included a grandparent, two parents and three children.

"It looks like two teenage sons entered into an agreement that they were going to commit suicide and that they were going to take their family members with them," Allen Police Sgt. Jon Felty told KRLD-AM Monday morning.

It has not been confirmed when the deaths took place.

Felty said there is no threat to the neighborhood and that there were no problems reported at the home, KRLD reported. . .

COMMENTARY Poll: Americans Displeased by Biden's Handling of Immigration Crisis

Apparently, President Joe Biden’s handling of the border crisis isn’t quite winning him support among the American people.

In poll after poll, Biden is taking a beating over his handling of illegal immigration. In the first major crisis of his administration, Joe Biden isn’t just losing — he’s losing big.

According to The Hill, in a Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll survey, 48 percent of Americans approve of how Biden is doing at the southern border. That’s down from the 56 percent that approved of his performance in February. The poll of 1,945 registered voters was conducted from March 24 to March 25 via an online sample. . . Public Support for Biden Immigration Policies Clnti ues to Slip as Immigration Crisis Intensifies

According to a recent poll commissioned by the NPR Media Network, American swing voters oppose Joe Biden’s open border immigration policy by a margin of 2:1, according to the same poll Latino Americans are just as unlikely to support Biden’s mass immigration agenda as they are to support it.

The NRP commissioned poll asked 1,309 registered voters if they “approve or disapprove of how President Biden is handling immigration.” Overall, just 33% of voters approve of Biden’s border policies, while 54% disapprove, says the Marist poll, conducted March 22 to 25. . . White House Giving Journalists ‘Zero Access’ to Border Patrol Operations

The Biden administration has given no access to observe or report on Customs and Border Protection (CPB) operations at the U.S.-Mexico border, according to an award-winning photographer and journalist.

Getty Images correspondent John Moore alleged there is a lack of transparency along the border. Last week, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) stated that Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ trip to the border, including El Paso, Texas, “will be closed to press due to privacy and COVID-19 precautions.”. . DHS Secretary: Border is Closed But Children Won't Be Expelled

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas says the U.S.–Mexico border is closed, although unaccompanied children who unlawfully cross into the United States won’t be turned back.

“We are expelling families. We are expelling single adults. And we’ve made a decision that we will not expel young, vulnerable children. I think we are executing on our plans,” Mayorkas told NBC News’ “Meet the Press” on March 21.

Mayorkas was then asked by Chuck Todd, the host, about whether the policy encourages parents in Mexico and other countries to send their children alone to the border.

“We have a short-term plan, a medium-term plan, and a long-term plan, and the president and I have spoken to this repeatedly. Please remember something: That President [Donald] Trump dismantled the orderly, humane, and efficient way of allowing children to make their claims under United States law in their home countries,” the secretary said, without elaborating. . . Commentary

The Biden administration is scrambling to shelter thousands of unaccompanied minors crossing the southern border from Central America. The media are declaring the crush at the border a “crisis.”

Truth is, this crisis could be heading to your school district. If your kids are in public school or you pay school taxes, you need to know the facts.

The media show photos of young migrant children. Don’t fall for that. Three-quarters of these unaccompanied minors are young men ages 15 to 17. Think tattoos, not teddy bears. .

Human Traffickers Feed Off Loose Border Laws: ‘America’s Forgotten’ Director

The Biden administration’s much looser stance on immigration than the previous administration is raising new discussion on the broader impacts of encouraging illegal entry into the United States.

The documentary film “America’s Forgotten” explores the death, torture, and suffering that surrounds illegal immigration, a topic that Hollywood appears to view too sensitive to touch.

The Epoch Times’ senior reporter Joshua Philipp interviewed Singh Gujral, the award-winning filmmaker and director of “America’s Forgotten.”. . Read more about Human Traffickers Feed Off Loose Border Laws: ‘America’s Forgotten’ Director
