Schools are for Educating Kids, Not for Sheltering Illegal Aliens

The Biden Administration’s reckless border and immigration policies have resulted in unprecedented numbers of illegal aliens entering our country, overwhelming the resources of countless communities nationwide. Self-declared sanctuary jurisdictions are compounding the impact of this crisis by turning public school facilities into shelters for largely unvetted adult migrants who flock to their communities. To address this problem, the House of Representatives just passed H.R. 3941, the Schools Not Shelters Act. . . . Read more about Schools are for Educating Kids, Not for Sheltering Illegal Aliens

CEO: "New immigration legislation offers hope for a beleaguered nation"

Imagine a new city popping up in America every two years, each with a population exceeding that of Los Angeles . This is what has happened, in effect, since President Joe Biden’s inauguration, with 4.2 million illegal immigrants having been allowed into the United States. And all the while, taxpayers have been footing the bill for billions of dollars per year to cover this unprecedented incursion of uncontrolled immigration.

However, new legislation offers hope that the nation can finally come to grips with the crisis. . . . Read more about CEO: "New immigration legislation offers hope for a beleaguered nation"

Jayapal’s Freudian Slip Reveals Elitist Contempt for Migrants, American Workers William Davis William Davis May 03, 2023

During a recent hearing in the House Judiciary Committee meant to debate an immigration bill aimed at ending the abuse of the U.S. asylum system, an extreme progressive congresswoman’s comments about migrants unmasked elitist attitudes on the immigration issue.

At the hearing, Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) claimed that the U.S. needs more immigration because migrants are the people who "pick the food we eat" and "clean our homes.” Her comments reveal the deep disdain many anti-borders activists and politicians have for working-class Americans and the migrants themselves. . . . Americans are feeling the crisis – in border communities and towns across America, law enforcement, state . . . Mandatory E-Verify to Reach House Floor under H.R. 2 -- "The Secure the Border Act of 2023"

On Tuesday, Reps. Mario Diaz-Balart (R-Fla.) and Tom McClintock (R-Calif.) introduced a new border security bill, the Secure the Border Act of 2023. With the support of House Leadership, they filed the bill as H.R. 2, showing it as the second top priority for this Congress. The bill, including mandatory E-Verify, is expected to come to the House floor for a vote next week.

Congressmen Mark Green (R-Tenn.), Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), Clay Higgins (R-La.), Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), Ken Calvert (R-Calif.), John Carter, and Nathaniel Moran (R-Texas) also cosponsored H.R. 2, the Diaz-Balart - McClintock border security bill.

H.R. 2 (The Secure the Border Act of 2023) is a serious approach to finally ending the Biden Border Crisis. Before taking over leadership of the House of Representatives, Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) promised to secure the border in Republicans' Commitment to America; the Diaz-Balart - McClintock border security bill is a significant step toward fulfilling that promise. . . .

Kevin McCarthy Cucks On Border Security—No Immigration Provisions In Debt Ceiling Bil

Well, not much of a surprise. Speaker Kevin McCarthy has presented his Debt Ceiling Bill to extend the debt limit. Instead of solutions to the major problems attached to the bill, only some limited budget cuts are included, but no cuts to programs sexually mutilating children, National Public Radio (NPR), or the Public Broadcasting System (PBS). No language has been attached for issues that are good for Republicans, such as gun rights, immigration control, or civil rights for white Americans. . . . Federal Inaction Provokes Strong Anti-Sanctuary Efforts In The States

The lax immigration enforcement policies promulgated by the Biden Administration continue to exacerbate the crisis at the border. However, this crisis has not been confined only to border states. Rather, the effects of human trafficking, drug smuggling, and increased crime are plaguing every state in the US.  Still reeling from the costs related to the COVID pandemic, states are now also being forced to shoulder the additional burdensome costs of illegal immigration. A recent report by FAIR found that at the beginning of 2023, the net costs to US taxpayers for illegal immigration was $150 billion, with states bearing the brunt of these costs –$115 billion. Several states, recognizing the Biden Administration’s failing immigration policies, worked with FAIR to advance anti-sanctuary legislation to enforce the rule of law, discourage illegal immigration and protect their communities from crime. . . . Joe Biden’s 2023 Border Budget: More Money for Migrants

Biden’s budget asks for money to hire 500 extra border guards who catch migrants — and money to hire 460 more people to release the migrants so they can travel to jobs and housing.

The Democrats’ budget asks for a $4.7 billion “contingency fund” to operate the existing network of non-profit groups, shelters, training courses, travel routes, and healthcare checks which get low-wage migrants into the jobs that would otherwise go to better-paid Americans. . . . Democrats to Skip Another Border Hearing, Claim GOP Going to Texas ‘to Attack’ Biden

Democrats on the House Homeland Security Committee are skipping a hearing in Texas on Wednesday, marking the second instance this year of a group of congressional Democrats refusing to attend an official field hearing at the border with Republicans.

Committee ranking member Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS) said Democrats made the decision “after careful consideration” and accused Republicans of “traveling to the border to attack the Administration” instead of going on a “fact-finding mission.”

“Unfortunately, it has become clear that Republicans planned to politicize this event from the start, breaking with the Committee’s proud history of bipartisanship,” Thompson said in a statement shared by Fox News. . . .
